Pam serves as the Director of Internal Communications in the Office of the Vice President for External Relations. She previously was Director of Communications for the Bohemian Foundation and Bohemian Companies, and was an Assistant Professor in the CSU Department of Journalism & Media Communication. Pam’s academic research focuses on media democracy in a market economy, and electronic media regulation and policy. In addition, she has worked as a TV news producer and assistant producer in Denver, San Francisco, St. Louis and Champaign-Urbana. She also worked in public television at WTTW-TV in Chicago. Pam has an MS in Technical Communication and a Ph.D. in Economics from Colorado State University. She holds fellowships from the Reynolds National Center for Business Journalism, Indiana University Freedom Forum and Colorado Colloquium on Media Ethics and Economics. Her interest in serving on the President’s Commission for Diversity and Inclusion stems from her experience as a First Generation student and her passion for helping to create a campus environment where all employees and students feel welcome and engaged.
