Meg Skeehan is a Program Assistant in the Department of Accounting in the College of Business. Meg identifies as genderqueer and is honored with they/them/their pronouns. They serve on the Classified Personnel Council, representing state classified employees at CSU, which is how they became involved on this presidential commission. Currently, Meg is working on a B.A. in Ethnic Studies and Interdisciplinary Liberal Arts while working full-time, and has aspirations in the future to continue their education with advanced degrees focused on student affairs. Ethnic studies has inspired them to learn how to help create and contribute to a more diverse and inclusive environment on the CSU campus, prompting them to take any trainings to expand on how they can help support faculty, staff, and students. Meg uses personal experience and knowledge, as well as new training and theory, to help better serve the campus community.
