4. Strategic Plan Update

  • How do we get the word out to campus regarding what we are doing?
  • We need to share with others.
  • Need to actively communicate
  • Small group discussion regarding what is happening in units on campus
    • Engineering sent out a survey of University strategic goals for a vote of the top three to use for their department strategic plan.
    • University Operations drafted and sent a plan to their Directors for review
    • Natural Resources Diversity Committee drafted a plan that they took to their Dept. heads
    • Vet Med has a Diversity Committee working on their plan
    • Athletics is working on a plan to send out for feedback
    • MSFN presentation to their group
    • Student Affairs has not addressed but it is on their agenda
    • Other departments have Diversity Catalyst Team or Diversity Committees working on plans
